An imprisoned Christian convert, Ebrahim firouzi, is deprived of medical services
The hearings indicate that this Christian convert prisoner is struggling with toothache, which has spread throughout his face, because of the lack of access to dentist.
According to Mohabat News, “Ebrahim firouzi”, a Christian convert imprisoned in Rajaei shahr prison in Karaj, has long been suffering from severe toothache, but discrimination deprived him of adequate medical treatment inside theprison.

According to an informed source regarding the situation of this political prisoner, Ebrahim is struggling with toothache which has spread throughout his jaw and face due to no access to a dentist. He is not even able to eat food anymore. “
The source continued, “the mother of this political prisoner is no longer able to visit her child, due to cancer, as well as her loss of vision, and the disagreement with the request for his vacation has made her condition worse.”
Despite having spent more than half of his sentence, Ebrahim firouzi is still deprived of the right to take vacation. Also, despite the fact that he was under pressure from security organizations during his detention, he supported truckers’ strike in Iran.

Ebrahim, who is himself a turning worker, well understands the problems that the workers in Iran are facing, and that their tables are empty, and despite the pressures he faces in prison, he felt it his duty to support the protests of the people against the Islamic Republic.
In his recent letter, he reacted to the truckers’ strike, asking all international assemblies and other countries to intervene in the release of detained truckers as soon as possible.
In part of the letter, this imprisoned Christian convert wrote: the current sovereignty, instead of solving their problems that arise from the lack of leadership and inability to manage the country, has arrested and imprisoned many truckers and, as always, is trying to attribute his disability to the anomalies of others. “
In another part of the letter, he wrote: “I appeal to the truckers’ unions in other countries and the relevant international organizations to spare no effort, as soon as possible, for releasing the night-break workers, who are now in custody, and help them to reach their rights.”
Ebrahim firouzi was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment in Tehran Revolutionary Court (Branch 28) chaired by Judge Moghiseh, in April 2015, in the charge of forming group to disturb the country’s security. The verdict was subsequently approved by the Tehran Appeals Court.
In addition to the five-year sentence, he will be exiled to Sarbaz city in Sistan-Baluchistan province, after his release.
