This Christian convert is a member of the “One Heart” house church, which is made up of the capital’s Christian women converts who come together only to pray and worship

Following the new wave of arrests of Christian converts in some Iranian cities, more details about the recent arrests are now being published. Among these arrests is the dentıon and interrogation of several members of a women’s house church in Tehran
Upon entering the house of Mrs. Maliheh Nazari in the Ariashahr region of Tehran, IRGC security agents raided her home and created an atmosphere of panic for the family of the Christian convert and took her away
Security agents also searched the home and confiscated some of her personal belongings, including a computer, mobile phone, a number of books and personal belongings, and referred her family to Evin Prison

Mrs. Maliha Nazari was arrested in the morning of Tuesday, June 30th 2020 in the presence of her husband and sıck son. Mrs. Nazeri like Sonia, another detainee arrested at another house church on Tuesday, is a member of the House church of ” One Heart “, a church dedicated to Christian women converts. The women’s group, which includes dozens of middle-aged converts, has no activity other than praying and worshiping God, and security officials have so far given no specific reason for the arrest of Mrs. Nazeri

Maliha Nazari, 46, is a housewife who lives in the Ariashahr region of Tehran with her husband and two sons, aged 22 and 15. Mrs. Nazari’s eldest son has been suffering from cancer for two years, and in addition to providing medical treatment for her son, she has turned to Jesus Christ for prayer and supplication to save her eldest son’s life.
One day after her arrest, Maliha Nazari’s family went to Evin Prison in Tehran and found her name on the list of detainees. But they were not allowed to visit her. The next day, Mrs. Nazari was briefly contacted by her family from prison and was only able to report about her health

The arrest and pressure on Christian converts comes at a time when the country is grappling with the covid-19 pandemic, especially in prisons with very low health facilities and the likelihood of contracting the deadly virus

In recent days, 20 activists and human rights organizations in the United States have written to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, referring to the Corona outbreak, and warned about the situation of political and ideological prisoners in Iran, including Christians, Gonabadi dervishes, Baha’is and other prisoners of religious minorities
These activists and human rights organizations have called on Secratary Pompeo to call on the Iranian regime to release all prisoners of conscience, expressing concern over the situation of religious freedom and human rights in Iran, and urging other US allies to express their concerns
